Job Description
An employer is looking for an Inventory Planner in Everett, WA. This person needs to have strong execution of data and processes. The successful candidate must possess the ability to operate from a company-wide perspective and encourage cross-functional and cross-business project development. This is an active, full-time warehouse position that requires continuous movement throughout the day. The role combines physical material handling with basic computer system usage. Candidates should expect to spend approximately 80% of their time on their feet performing warehouse duties and 20% performing computer-based tasks.
A day in the life: The Kuiper team is looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals who want to join the team. You will be responsible for processing materials in order to support our customer, the satellite production team. You will also interact with peer teams such as planning, quality, and EHS to ensure our processes result in positive outcomes for these teams. You are a problem solver and are comfortable performing a variety of procedures and troubleshooting standard tasks.
Responsibilities:
- *Assist in data accuracy so all tools and processes function as expected.
- *Manage inbound shipments: po tracking & maintenance, fill rates, operational issues, vendor communications.
- *Analyze inventory position and sku performance to determine inventory needs.
- *Execute on a variety of purchase order, in-stock, and vendor related systems and reports.
Desired Skill Set:
- The ideal candidate will have 2 years of relevant experience either in inventory, supply chain, warehouse, or technical support
- They must be highly organized, self-starting, and comfortable with business software, such as Excel.
- The successful candidate must be flexible, possess good written and oral communication skills, be team-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines while working on several projects simultaneously.
- Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10 hours per shift
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted
Shifts:
- Sun - Wed: 6am-4:30pm
- Wed-Sat: 6am-4:30pm
- Sun – Wed: 5pm – 3:30am
- Wed – Sat: 5pm – 3:30am
- Swing Shift ( M-F) 10:00am – 7:00pm
Compensation:
$24.00/hr to $25.00/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
