Administrative functions. Analyze EEO case data and prepare statistical reports. Use independent judgment in working with vendors and preparing contract documents for submission. Coordinate with the LMS team on quarterly reports for sexual harassment prevention training (SHPT). Contact deputy directors to inform them of staff in their division who are out of compliance with SHPT requirements. Act as the primary CalHR Discrimination Complaint Tracking System (DCTS) management analyst. Research and analyze data reporting for the State Personnel Board Compliance Review. Coordinate the annual policy release with other stakeholder groups and update EEO policies with any changes in statutes, regulations, or rules. Act as the accessibility coordinator for the EEO Office. Research and analyze data needed for annual workforce analysis.

Investigation related support: Extract and analyze digital data files. Assist investigators with transcribing interviews, downloading and reviewing information from email pulls and other information sources.

Independently oversee the LEAP program: Maintain knowledge (status) of Limited Examination Appointment Program (LEAP) candidates. Assist in communication with key Departmental contacts, provide tools and information to candidates and supervisors, inform candidates of what to expect during the Job Exam Period (JEP), and effectively address issues that may arise throughout the JEP.

Research related tasks: Public Information Act (PRA) requests. Research and gather documents required for public records act requests; assist with researching, compiling, redacting, and preparation of responses to PRA requests. Assist in other research related activities, including Departmental policy research, and updates. Research and track EEO related legislative bills.

Use independent judgment in processing of religious accommodation requests.

Working Conditions

This position is eligible for hybrid work in accordance with the Governor's Executive Order N-22-25 and at the sole discretion of the Department of Social Services under California Government Code Section 14200. All telework schedules are subject to change and may be re-evaluated at any time. The incumbent will be expected to report for in office work and attend work related in-person events as deemed operationally necessary. Telework does not change the terms and conditions of employment, the essential functions of job duties, or required compliance with the CDSS policies.
