CSR (Underwriting) (Hybrid)
The CSR (Underwriting) (Hybrid) processes insurance applications, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and data entry. Duties & Responsibilities: Process underwriting transactions accurately and timely. Order and interpret miscellaneous reports. Process underwriter requests from faxes, phone calls, emails, and quotes. Handle requests and inquiries from internal departments and agents regarding underwriting processes and procedures. Process transactions in data entry or the work queues. Evaluate and maintain customer information for all lines of business. Verify customer links on all transactions for all lines of business. Research the connections that have created customer links on existing business. Research and update social security numbers and dates of birth for customers. Process transactions in work queues. Professionally handle incoming and outgoing customer phone calls. Maintain good relationships with internal and external customers. Other work as assigned. Requirements: GED Computer skills Skills & Qualifications: Basic underwriting and rating knowledge including applications, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and data entry. Basic computer skills. Ability to apply knowledge of established underwriting procedures, workflow processes, and regulatory requirements for the timely processing of transactions. Acceptable accuracy on scenario assessment. Organizational skills. Problem solving skills. Communication skills. Ability to meet quantity and quality work standards. Ability to cooperate and work in a professional team environment. Market Range: 1 / 37.5 hours per week / Hybrid - 2 Days in Office Salary: $31,594 - $45,563 Accepting applications through: 8/29/25
