Onsite, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Overtime Compensation) Type:
6 Month Contract - Likely Extension / Conversion Education & Experience: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Minimum 3 years of experience in IT administration or AV/IT support Professional certifications (Microsoft, AWS, Oracle, Cisco) preferred Summary: Client is seeking a results-driven IT Administrator to manage and enhance our retail store technology infrastructure. This role will oversee existing platforms, troubleshoot AV/IT issues, and support the deployment of new technologies in customer-facing environments. The ideal candidate will be proactive, collaborative, and passionate about delivering seamless tech experiences in retail. Responsibilities
Monitor, maintain, and deploy network and server systems Configure and upgrade hardware/software with guidance from Sr. Manager of Technology Enforce security protocols and manage access control Perform diagnostics and optimize retail systems Document and standardize IT processes for retail and support teams Support new technology rollouts and testing Collaborate with Client's Global and local Systems/Security teams Provide technical guidance to retail store partners Technical Expertise
Windows Server & Active Directory AWS (Firewall & Virtual Environments) Meraki Network Infrastructure Retail POS Systems (iQmetrix) Digital Content Management (BrightSign, AMX, VXT, MagicINFO) Retail Analytics & Sales Enablement Tools Video Security (Eagle Eye Networks) Microsoft SharePoint, Jira, Confluence VoIP & Commercial Audio Solutions Asset & Desktop Management Tools Qualifications
bachelors or masters degree as listed above and minimum 3 years of relevant experience Professional certifications (Microsoft, AWS, Oracle, Cisco) preferred Must-Have Skills
Strong knowledge of AV/IT systems, networks, and security Analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Willingness to travel up to 40% and support after-hours operations as needed Preferred Qualifications
Experience in retail technology environments Familiarity with multimedia systems and broadband standards Ability to collaborate across complex organizations and influence outcomes Strong documentation and process development skills Experience in retail AV/IT or telecommunications is a plus
