About the Team

As a Manager, Product Management on AIML's Enterprise Feature Platform (EFP) product team, you will be the voice of the customer, identifying opportunities for reuse, standardization, and innovation. Your customer is defining industry-leading 'Decisioning Algorithms' automating billions of dollars in decisions including Credit Line Increases, Fraud, Marketing, and Multi-Card decisions. You will also define and deliver generalized tooling and AgenticAI for future customers to onboard and leverage the platform's services. The ideal candidate will empathize with customer/business needs, ensure Operational Excellence, and lead with an entrepreneurial spark. You should be comfortable with stakeholders ranging from technical customers to senior leadership. The successful candidate will engage with Product, Tech, Business Analysis and Risk partners across Capital One's major Card segments (Mainstreet, UpMarket, Partnerships & Small Business Card). Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Deliver the product strategy for migrating a high-value data-feature library to the enterprise platform Design and support validation techniques to ensure a smooth migration from legacy to modern platform Meet with leaders in Business organizations to understand pain points and develop solutions to lower overhead Work closely with business and tech partner teams to define requirements and measures of success Prioritize the product backlog to maximize business and customer outcomes Incorporate design thinking and analytics to inform product and customer journey design Maintain an analyzed backlog of work, refining near-term deliverables/epics with Tech Support technology teams with escalation and resolution of impediments Deploy go-to-market strategies to ensure customers can navigate onboarding tools and steps Serve as the connection between customers, partners, Capital One's mission, and your team Walk a mile in your customer's shoes; EFP tests products as part of the Model Development Lifecycle The right candidate will be: Passionate about building impactful products and enjoy putting themselves in the shoes of customers Interested in leveraging AI to improve the thoroughness and efficiency of work Able to concisely describe problems to ensure teams understand them and lead teams to solve those problems Aware of the needs of data scientists, machine learning engineers and/or business decision analysts Experienced building or working with enterprise platforms with wide-ranging capabilities A continuous learner who asks questions and can get up to speed on technology quickly Experienced working in an Agile environment and delivering incremental priorities to maximize value Strategic and capable of understanding the big picture Excellent oral and written communication skills An avid networker to support customers and collaborate with partner platforms (EMP & GenAI Platform) to align with lifecycles and strategies The position will not manage others directly, but as a Product Owner, will lead 1 or more tech pods in delivering their agenda/backlog. The product manager will interface with leaders across Capital One's largest Profit & Loss business sectors to design solutions that enable onboarding to the enterprise data-feature platform. Basic Qualifications: At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration Preferred Qualifications: At least 1 year experience building ETL/transformation logic with Python, SQL or other relevant language At least 4 years of experience working in Agile Product Management MBA or Master's degree in a quantitative field or an MBA with a quantitative concentration Experience working in data science, machine learning, AI and/or automated Business Decision technologies Experience working closely with enterprise platforms Capital One does not sponsor new employment authorization for this position at this time. Salary, Benefits and Eligibility

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries are for candidates hired to work within the listed locations, and refer to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated. Chicago, IL: $144,000 - $164,400 for Manager, Product Management McLean, VA: $158,400 - $180,800 for Manager, Product Management New York, NY: $172,800 - $197,200 for Manager, Product Management Richmond, VA: $144,000 - $164,400 for Manager, Product Management San Francisco, CA: $172,800 - $197,200 for Manager, Product Management Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range for that location. The actual offer will be reflected in the offer letter. This role is eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI) depending on the plan.
