The Role: Under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) at Providence Holy Family Hospital provides strategic leadership to nursing, ancillary, and support departments, ensuring the highest standards in hospital nursing operations. Collaborate with operational and clinical leaders, as well as medical staff, to optimize efficiencies, implement strategic plans, and drive recruitment and retention. Be at the forefront of quality and patient satisfaction initiatives, working closely with the COO on strategic planning and growth. As a key member of the PHC Executive Team, the CNO actively participates in Market and System initiatives, promoting teamwork and collaboration across all levels. What You'll Do: Strategic Visionary: Lead the provision and quality of nursing services, ensuring optimal patient care, satisfaction, and collaboration with various departments. Patient-Centric Innovator: Develop standards for care delivery focused on patient-centeredness, safety, and evidence-based practices. Collaborative Leader: Manage change constructively and foster a team-based approach to achieve strategic nursing goals. Inspiration Driver: Maintain a dynamic presence at the Holy Family campus, motivating and inspiring the nursing team. Mission Advocate: Embrace and promote the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of the Sisters of Providence through open communication and a caring approach. What You'll Bring: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field; Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field. Experience: 10+ years in progressive clinical leadership and senior nursing management roles. Administrative Expertise: Proven success in leading multidisciplinary teams and major clinical operations. Physician Collaboration: Experience engaging medical staff leaders and working collaboratively with represented nursing units. Operational Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of hospital outpatient and physician practice operations. License Requirement: Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire. Why Join Us?
