Wastewater Treatment Engineer
Our client, a leading engineering consultancy, is seeking a
Wastewater Treatment Engineer
to support and lead the design and implementation of municipal water and wastewater projects. This role involves evaluating, selecting, and designing process mechanical systems, while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities Design and specify mechanical systems for water/wastewater treatment facilities. Prepare technical documentation, reports, drawings, and P&IDs. Perform hydraulic/mechanical calculations and lead QA/QC efforts. Support project scope, budget, and schedule development. Lead/participate in coordination meetings with clients and internal teams. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to design standards. Qualifications
Bachelor's in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering. 5+ years' experience in wastewater treatment design. PE license in Nevada (or ability to obtain within 6 months). Strong communication and project coordination skills. Familiarity with Nevada permitting processes preferred.
