Previous Food Service experience preferred.
Previous experience working with children preferred, but not required.

The Child Nutrition Operations Specialist position will consist of, but not limited to, the following duties:
Complete knowledge and understanding of meal patterns and associated USDA regulations. Work with site leaders to provide ongoing training to ensure food quality and safety requirements. Coordinate the Pathway to Leadership Program Lead monthly Manager & Assistant Manager leadership meetings Be familiar with all food & supply items Provide Assistance with point of sale system Organizing google shared folders for the department Submitting rebates Research grant opportunities Farm to School initiatives Summer planning operations Coordinate district vending and concession orders Marketing/communication Staffing Professional development tracking Assist with procuring smallwares Assist with developing new menu ideas Ensure accurate meal counting throughout the district on a monthly basis Assist the Site Supervisors, Child Nutrition Assistant Director & Director
