Overview

The Senior Patient Services Specialist provides support and clinic coordination of multiple patient care services as well as patient orientation for the Swedish Medical Center on multiple campuses, exercising independence in the planning and accomplishment of a wide spectrum of clerical duties. Responsibilities

Provide support and clinic coordination of multiple patient care services and patient orientation across Swedish Medical Center campuses; exercise independence in planning and completing a wide range of clerical duties. Required Qualifications

Coursework/Training - Successful completion of Oncology administrative training within six months Medical Terminology Certification or successful completion of a Medical Terminology course within 6 months of hire 1 year - Experience in a healthcare setting preferred (i.e. physicians office, scheduler, etc.) Experienced in obtaining insurance verifications, referrals and authorizations Preferred Qualifications

Associate's Degree - Emphasis in Health Care or Associate Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school with emphasis in Health Care Why Join Providence Swedish?
