Senior Patient Services Specialist - Plastic Surgery role at Swedish Medical Center. The Senior Patient Services Specialist provides support and clinic coordination of multiple patient care services as well as patient orientation for Swedish Medical Center on multiple campuses, exercising independence in planning and accomplishment of a wide spectrum of clerical duties. Coursework/Training - Successful completion of Oncology administrative training within six months Medical Terminology Certification or successful completion of a Medical Terminology course within 6 months of hire 1 year - Experience in a healthcare setting preferred (i.e. physicians office, scheduler, etc.) Experience in obtaining insurance verifications, referrals and authorizations Preferred Qualifications
Associate's Degree - Emphasis in Health Care or Associate Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school with emphasis in Health Care About Providence Swedish
