Job Description
Building Control Systems Engineer
Locations: Southeast Wisconsin / Midwest / Southwest
Responsibilities
Design hardware and software for Building control systems using established standards. Generate submittals including wiring diagrams, flow charts, sequences, bill of materials, and schedules. Coordinate drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and installation. Select product components and create stencils for system designs. Ensure timely completion of designs and projects. Participate in meetings with the project field team. Perform value engineering for cost-effective results. Create as-built drawings and prepare documentation for system operation. Keep management and customers informed of job progress. Manage projects as required.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Minimum five years of experience in Building controls design Knowledge in control theory, Building, temperature controls, building automation systems, and subsystems Ability to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously Advanced computer skills in drafting tools and submittal generation Preferred experience with Carrier, Trane, Daikin, Rheem, Bosch, Honeywell, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Lennox, Schneider Electric
