Accountabilities:
The Backend Engineer will be responsible for:
Designing and implementing highly scalable backend services and architectures for DeFi applications. Integrating backend services with blockchain networks and smart contracts to ensure seamless functionality. Developing secure APIs for communication between frontend applications, smart contracts, and third-party services. Optimizing data storage, retrieval, and processing for high-performance environments. Conducting code reviews, troubleshooting backend performance or security issues, and implementing best practices. Keeping current with trends in blockchain, DeFi, and backend development technologies to continuously improve platform capabilities. Requirements
Candidates should meet the following qualifications:
3+ years of experience in backend development, with strong proficiency in Java. Experience with Node.js, Go, or equivalent backend technologies. Strong understanding of blockchain architecture, smart contracts, and DeFi protocols. Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and distributed data systems. Proven ability to build and maintain APIs, microservices, and backend infrastructure. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Professional proficiency in English and Chinese, as frequent communication with international teams is required.
