Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time school social worker position is available in Gurnee, IL, serving K-12 students in a dynamic school setting. This contract role offers the chance to positively impact the social-emotional development and overall well-being of students across all grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop support plans and interventions
  • Conduct assessments and support crisis intervention when necessary
  • Advocate for students needs and connect families with community resources
  • Promote a positive and inclusive school climate

Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois State Licensure as a School Social Worker (PEL)
  • Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 students

  • Ability to manage a caseload effectively while maintaining professional autonomy
