A contract opportunity is available for a qualified Social Worker to support students within a school setting in Edgewood, NM. This role involves providing essential social-emotional support to students, collaborating with educators and families, and contributing to a positive, supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and provide counseling services to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in collaboration with school staff and families.
• Facilitate communication between students, parents, and school personnel to address student needs.
• Connect students and families with community resources and support services.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success and wellbeing.
• Maintain detailed and confidential records in compliance with school policies and legal requirements.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as a school social worker.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of counseling techniques, child development, and family systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy.
