About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to oversee the day-to-day operations of clinical services. The CNO will be responsible for managing and supervising clinical staff, ensuring that the competency, numbers, and staff levels are appropriate to meet the needs of patients. This role involves promoting the quality of nursing care, operating under professional standards, and integrating nursing services into the organization's quality assessment and performance improvement program. The CNO will also be a key member of the leadership team, shaping the future of the organization, driving quality initiatives, and fostering a positive work environment.

Candidates for the CNO position at the company must have a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, with a Master's degree in a healthcare-related field or enrollment in a Master's program. A minimum of 3 years' direct patient care experience in a LTAC or acute care setting is required, with LTACH experience being highly desirable. The CNO must also have a minimum of 2 years' of nursing management experience and be a licensed Registered Nurse. The role demands a leader who can demonstrate operational and financial management skills, a commitment to customer and physician satisfaction, and a strong focus on talent development and change management. The CNO will be expected to retain all nursing-related hospital accreditations and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
