Job Summary:
The Recovery Coordinator will be responsible for vetting and organizing speakers from the therapeutic community for the recovery floor. The recovery coach will ensure the overall oversight and organization of community speakers. In addition, the Recovery Coordinator will be responsible for running and documenting peer groups on the floor and building a community presence.
Job Requirements BA or BS or a combination of experience in a substance use related field. Assessment and Planning: Service Coordination: Facilitating access to and coordinating various services, such as
speakers for
therapy, support groups, medical care, housing, and vocational training. Connecting individuals with relevant community resources and ensuring they are effectively utilized.
Support and Guidance: Providing ongoing support, encouragement, and guidance to individuals throughout their recovery journey. Collaboration and Communication: Working closely with other professionals, such as therapists, doctors, and social workers, to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to care. Maintaining regular communication with individuals, their families, and other stakeholders. Advocacy: Advocating for the needs and rights of individuals in the recovery process. Representing individuals' interests and ensuring they have access to necessary resources and support.
