About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Business Development with a focus on the Department of State (DOS) and other US Government agencies. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading strategic growth in international development infrastructure and development finance. This role requires the development and execution of a growth strategy that aligns with the company's goals, as well as the fostering and maintenance of strong relationships with key clients. The VP will oversee business development activities, support capture efforts, and coordinate company resources to pursue new work. A key aspect of the position is the ability to engage with technical experts to develop solutions and to negotiate teaming agreements that result in favorable outcomes.
Applicants must have a BA/BS in a relevant field, with a minimum of 12 years' experience in business development, including at least 4 years in a leadership role. Experience in managing USG-funded programs and a strong understanding of USG contracting procedures are essential. The role demands exceptional communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills, as well as a proven track record in business development. A Master's degree and experience with USG agencies such as USAID or the Development Finance Corporation are preferred. The ideal candidate will be adept at strategic prospect identification, and will have a history of success in capturing business opportunities and securing contracts.
