Job Summary: In addition to the responsibilities below, this position leads the implementation of best practice models and patient care delivery systems across several locations, delegates tasks related to investigation and resolution of patient/family concerns, facilitates collaboration with physicians and other health care providers to ensure safe patient care, monitors resource needs, manages equipment, supplies and medications, ensures a safe environment for patients and staff, maintains clinical expertise and provides supervision, and performs clinical duties as required. Responsibilities
Creates and advocates for developmental opportunities; builds collaborative relationships; solicits and acts on performance feedback; sets goals and provides coaching to drive performance improvement. Oversees talent development, including hiring, training, development, succession planning, and performance management; stays current with change, best practices, processes, and industry trends; promotes cross-team collaboration and engagement. Manages designated units or teams by translating business plans into actionable items; ensures policy compliance; partners with stakeholders to align products/services with departmental strategies; communicates goals and resource plans; removes obstacles and drives performance improvement. Administers hospital functions to support patient care, including financial management, reporting, safety, HR, labor relations, training, quality/risk, and audit readiness; leads budget development and cost control. Oversees care delivery operations in a 24/7 environment; partners with physicians and leaders; leads data gathering and analysis; aligns care management solutions across departments; ensures resource utilization and team accountability; supports emergency preparedness and recovery planning. Leads strategic improvements to operations and technology processes; identifies root causes and implements solutions; collaborates with senior leadership on strategic plans; ties performance metrics to organizational initiatives. Ensures safe, high-quality, standardized care; drives continuous quality and safety improvements; ensures compliance with Nursing Practice Act and regulatory requirements; leads system design to evaluate and improve patient care. Eligible for Sign-on Bonus! Minimum Qualifications
Minimum five (5) years of experience in patient care delivery. Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) and minimum five (5) years of experience in business operations, clinical health care, or related field. Minimum four (4) years of leadership experience with or without direct reports. Registered Nurse license (California) required at hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire.
