What You'll Be Doing:

Skidded systems for gas turbine (powerplant) auxiliary and process equipment Gas turbine control packages (E-houses) Performance enhancing and NOx reduction technologies such as wet compression, inlet fogging, water wash, water injection, ammonia forwarding control units Flow and calorie meters Integrated piping, instruments, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, wire, conduit, and control systems Bulkhead design, hydraulic power units, PAO skids, HMI carts Job Responsibilities

Develops initial designs for equipment skids, piping systems, and control systems Generate datasheets, bills of materials, and other documentation for procurement of project materials Reviews designs, drawings, BOMs, and work packages to ensure all customer requirements are met Work with Project Management, Purchasing, Quality, Production, and Field Service teams to execute the full project scope Responsible for Fluid and Mechanical Systems Design and Engineering for the power, process, and entertainment industries. Design and integration of piping, instruments, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, wire, conduit, and control systems Design, production, and testing of high performance motor operated valves, and pumps. API, ASME and AGA flow metering system design and manufacturing including revenue and custody transfer systems. Detailed fluid systems engineering. Detailed component specification, sourcing, and procurement. Engineered System and component proposal generation support of Application Engineering. Process and Procedure Generation, Training, and adherence. Characterize, Design, and Manufacture Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts and systems in order to assure the fit, form. Develop part manufacturing 3D models and 2D designs utilizing latest CAD/PLM/PDM Software tools (Siemens NX/Teamcenter or Solidworks) Create and author formal component, material, process and general specifications in support of the part manufacturing process. Undertake personal research and investigate applicable patents so as to determine project scope. Assesses project requirements and manage engineering projects from initiation through to closing using standard project management and reporting tools. Performs product and process analysis, and optimize designs and specifications to improve quality, delivery and cost throughout the product life cycle Ensures safety, reliability and efficiency consideration, global trends and latest norms, standards and innovations are incorporated in the design practice. Formally lead complex root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventative solutions in a variety of challenging environments. Author technical reports in support of the design and manufacturing process. Review piping, structural frame, acoustic, thermo-structural, and CFD analysis (FEM) Review dynamic analyses (experimental and numerical) of components and systems Agrees budgets, timescales and specifications with clients and management Works closely with suppliers to spec components and obtain cut sheets Required Skills / Knowledge

Advanced knowledge of mechanical engineering disciplines. Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams. Ability to draft clear and comprehensive technical documents Ability to design products using computer-aided design and engineering software Experience

Knowledge of industrial-grade process equipment; including control valves, regulators, pumps, blowers, motors, transmitters Ability to read customer specifications and review designs against the same Experience with generating and reading P&IDs, General Arrangement Drawings, Process Flow Diagrams, Piping Drawings, Bills of Materials, and testing procedures Working understanding of typical industrial codes, including ANSI, API, ASME, ASTM, AWS, CSA, NFPA, OSHA Knowledge of ASME B31.1/B31.3 and other piping standards is a plus Knowledge of Building Codes is a plus Detailed understanding of key engineering disciplines within the field of skidded system/part design and manufacturing including geometric data gathering and modelling, material selection, sizing, and meeting applicable code requirements. Demonstrable experience in high-accuracy engineering of auxiliary systems and powerplant or industrial facility. A clear understanding of the critical parameters that affect the life and performance of a product/system design, with knowledge of the application of FEA in developing and validating component design. Project management experience desirable. Ability to manage multiple individual projects and to effectively lead small teams towards agreed deliverables Ability to accomplish tasks and to deliver results through theoretical and hands-on activities Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering discipline. At least 2 years of engineering experience in the field of auxiliaries, skids, and systems engineering desirable. What We Offer
