Human Resources Generalist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing company in Phoenix, AZ that is looking for an Human Resources Generalist to join the team. This is a full-time Monday through Friday onsite position. Pay range is $26.00-$30.00/hr (salary $55,000-$62,000) depending on years of experience.

This role is pivotal in managing core Human Resources functions, ensuring compliance, full-cycle recruiting and onboarding, and fostering a productive and engaged workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead talent acquisition efforts, including recruitment, job posting, interviewing, onboarding, and exit interviews.
  • Support employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, OSHA standards, and company policies.
  • Coordinate training and development initiatives tailored to operational teams.
  • Manage weekly payroll processing, garnishments, and tax filings.
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics (e.g., turnover rates, time-to-hire).
  • Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries.
  • Assist with COBRA administration and documentation of employee interactions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of progressive HR Generalist experience, preferably in manufacturing or construction.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Sage 300) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Preferred Certifications

  • PHR or SHRM-CP for generalist credibility.
  • OSHA or EHS-related training for safety-sensitive environments.
