The Collector II will primarily emphasize the handling/collecting of delinquent accounts greater than 3 days past due and beyond based on business needs. This position also assists owners with a general understanding of the terms and conditions related to their ownership and contract(s). The Collector II will also be expected to provide additional leadership support in the department to assist the Supervisors and Leads. The collector will also be expected to be certified in both call skills and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). Perform all collection activity in accordance with company and Federal regulations.

Collection activity that facilitates the maintenance of acceptable delinquency percentages as provided by financial management.

Maintain required levels of phone activity, contact percentages and other key performance indicators provided by financial management.

Legally, ethically and confidentially handle any correspondence and/or payments received.

Maintain systematic and organized support documentation related to the handling of any owner account. Request skip tracing as necessary.

Assist all members of collections staff with daily processes and procedures when required.

Carry out any reasonable request by management.

Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures. Provide effective leadership to the team in support of the Supervisors and Leads. Assist with the development of company policies and procedures in conjunction with collection tactics and practices. Assist with inbound calls during high peak days as determined by management. Performs other related duties as assigned. To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience: High School Diploma/GED Must possess excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills. Must meet federal and state licensure requirements Flexible Schedule M-Sat from 8am to 10pm

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions: More than 6 months collections experience or related area (Customer Services or Sales) Skip tracing experience Timeshare Industry, Financial Services or Banking experience
