As the Bell Attendant, you will greet guests upon arrival and departure, assist with luggage, and escort them to their rooms while introducing hotel services and amenities. You'll also support concierge needs throughout their stay, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience. A thorough knowledge of hotel offerings is essential. Additional Responsibilities Include: Transport guest luggage from the point of arrival at the hotel to their assigned room, from current room to reassigned room for room changes, and from their room to the point of departure from the hotel. Identify and explain hotel facilities and features to guests while escorting them to their room. Identify fire exit closest to guests room and explain safety features of assigned room. Maintain accurate knowledge of local attractions and activities to recommend for guest inquiries. Assist guests with concierge related services. Knowledge of local restaurants, special events, city attractions, and guest amenities. Anticipate guests needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests even when busy. Follow and perform all LQA and Forbes Standards for the department. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. What are we looking for? To fulfill this role efficiently, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience: High School Diploma or equivalent Excellent oral and written communication skills Must be able to work a flexible shift schedule to include weekdays, weekends, AM, PM, and overnight shifts. Ability to work well under pressure of check-in/check-out of guests and handle multiple tasks at once. Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance. Able to lift, carry, push, and pull luggage or carts weighing up to 100lbs It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions: 1-2 years of hotel experience preferred 1-2 years of customer service preferred Bachelors degree in hotel or travel industry management preferred. Experience in a luxury lifestyle hotel highly desirable.
