A Nonprofit based in Midtown Manhattan is hiring an Administrative Assistant for their legal department. The Assistant must be a proficient Spanish speaker, and comfortable translating and transcribing Spanish. The role will support several judges with administrative tasks, including translating, processes cases, transcribing testimonials, and drafting communication. The position starts onsite in Manhattan and eventually moved to Yonkers area.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of Legal Administrative Assistant experience
• Legal background
• Strong proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams)
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
  
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Notary Public
• Post-secondary education experience
• Previous religious organization experience
  
  
  

Compensation: $50,000-$54,000

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
