Scouting America Outfitters is looking for an experienced Sr. Administrative Assistant to join our team at our Charlotte offices. This person will work to support the daily operations of the Sr. Vice President and department management.
The ideal candidate is a high-energy individual with excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communications.
Essential Functions:
- Administers programs, projects, and/or processes specific to the department's needs.
- Schedules meetings and travel arrangements. Maintains department budgets, calendars, forms, and office supplies. Orders supplies, furniture, and equipment.
- Prepares correspondence, agendas, manuals, reports, and other materials. Produces graphics for presentations. Edits publications, reports, and other communications. Handles more complex administrative issues of a confidential nature, requiring considerable use of discretion.
- Provides research and analysis on complex projects and assignments that require a thorough knowledge of the business or organization. Reviews and recommends improvements to internal processes. Provides knowledge and expertise to other administrative support. Serves as backup to other administrative support.
- May serve as an administration liaison to others inside and outside the company regarding administrative issues related to purchasing, personnel, facilities, and operations. May provide a specific service such as mail distribution, receptionist, filing, or data entry.
- Takes initiative in identifying problems and implementing effective solutions.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED equivalency
- 8+ years of experience as an Administrative Assistant working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities.
- Experienced in budget administration and expense tracking
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Skill in identifying and resolving issues
- High level of professionalism and discretion
- Ability to type/sit for extended periods without fatigue
- Ability to work on-site at our Charlotte, NC office location
