Staff Accountant

Our client in Falls Church, Virginia is seeking a well-rounded Staff Accountant to support their core accounting functions. This is a great opportunity for someone who's comfortable with journal entries, reconciliations, and digging into the details.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and post journal entries
• Perform account reconciliations (bank, GL, intercompany, etc.)
• Maintain general ledger and chart of accounts
• Assist with accruals and monthly close activities
• Support internal controls and audit readiness

Requirements:

• Experience with GL accounting and reconciliation
• Familiarity with ERP/accounting software
• A logical, analytical approach to problem-solving
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
