You will have the opportunity to contribute to the construction of a state-of-the-art, large-scale facility dedicated to producing low-carbon ammonia. This industry-transforming plant is being built from the ground up, utilizing the latest ATR technology combined with carbon capture and sequestration (CCS). This advanced technology is expected to reduce emissions from the ammonia production process by more than 90% compared to conventional plants without CCS. While we are not the first company to build a plant with ATR technology, this will be the largest of its kind.
Position Overview:
Reporting to the General Manager, the HR Manager is a key member of the site leadership team, responsible for maintaining and enhancing the site’s operational success through talent acquisition, development, and management. The role also involves organizational design, influencing site safety culture, and administering HR policies, programs, and practices.
Job Description:
What you’ll do:
- Align site culture with company objectives and involve HR in safety efforts by regularly assessing and adjusting the culture to support organizational goals.
- Develop and deploy talent acquisition strategies to ensure the site has the right talent to meet current and future needs.
- Ensure new employees have the necessary skills and potential for growth by facilitating onboarding and continuous development. Identify key positions and manage talent development with a focus on succession planning and career progression.
- Act as the compliance officer on site, ensuring all employees adhere to ethical standards and company policies. Ensure ethical behavior and timely handling of issues by addressing concerns promptly and thoroughly to maintain a positive work environment.
- Manage organizational structure, job evaluations, and pay actions to keep the organizational framework up-to-date and equitable.
- Communicate site and corporate objectives effectively to ensure employees understand how their roles contribute to the overall success of the business.
Required Skills:
- BS/BA in a related field or equivalent experience typically required to complete all essential job functions.
- Experience of at least 5 years or related professional experience, including supervisory experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with a broad range of contacts.
- Ability to solve typical problems, interpret data, and plan activities accordingly.
- Decisiveness and independent judgment in complex decision-making impacting multiple areas.
- Financial accountability and strategic influence within the scope of the role.
