Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing patients for examinations and performing diagnostic radiology procedures.

1. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic procedures, including routine radiographic studies in diagnostics, and conduct specialized fluoroscopy studies utilizing digital fluoroscope equipment.
• Obtain diagnostic radiographs by placing patients in proper positions and adhering to department policy regarding routine procedures.
• Prepare patients for examination by receiving orders, making necessary entries in the electronic medical record, and ensuring all necessary clothing and jewelry is removed.
• Perform miscellaneous related duties, such as processing images for interpretation and importing CDs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• AART-ODH certification and ODH Ohio Radiologic License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Thorough knowledge of various medical imaging procedures and equipment, including proper technique and positioning, handling, and administering ionizing radiation.
• Superior customer service skills and ability to function as a team member with limited supervision.
