Locums - Cardiac AnesthesiologistLocation: Rock Island & Moline, Illinois Assignment Overview
  • Rotation: 4 weeks on / 2 weeks off
  • Call:
    • Rock Island: 7a-7p / 7p-7a (Call)
    • Moline: 7a-5:30p / 5:30p-7a (Call)
    • OB call covered by CRNAs (Moline)
    • OR call covered by MDs (Rock Island)
    • Must be open to occasional backup call
    • Call Response Time: 20 minutes
    • Call scheduled jointly by CCI and provider
Facility & Schedule
  • Shift Hours: 7:00 AM until cases are complete
  • Rock Island OR Hours:
    • 7a-3p (5 ORs)
    • 3p-5p (4 ORs)
    • 5p-7p (1 OR)
  • Moline OR Hours:
    • 7a-3p (5 ORs)
    • 3p-5p (3 ORs)
Case Types
  • Both Sites:
    • Pediatrics
    • General
    • Orthopedics
    • Urology
    • Ophthalmology
    • ENT
    • Plastics
    • Podiatry
  • Rock Island Additional Cases:
    • Cardiac (preferred but not required)
    • Endoscopy
    • Vascular
  • Moline Additional Cases:
    • GYN
    • Pain Management
Procedures
  • Must be proficient in:
    • Spinals
    • Epidurals
    • Blocks
  • Caselogs required to verify proficiency (epidurals, spinals, and blocks)
Staffing & Equipment
  • Daily Providers: 3 MDs / 10 CRNAs
  • ORs:
    • 4 at Rock Island
    • 5 at Moline
  • Endo Room: 1 (Rock Island)
  • CV Room: 1 (Rock Island)
  • EMR: Epic
Requirements
  • Cardiac/TEE experience preferred, but not required
  • Board Certified/Eligible in Anesthesiology
  • Active IL License or IMLC with LOQ - Required
  • AHA ACLS Certification - Required
