Locums - Emergency Medicine - Houston, Texas

Start Date: ASAPContract Length: 3-6 MonthsSetting: Hospital - Emergency DepartmentEMR: Meditech (2-day shadow/orientation provided)

Schedule & Coverage

• Shifts Available: 12 hours (AM & PM)

• Coverage: Single coverage physician model

• Normal ED Support Staff provided

• Patient Volume: 1.5-2 patients per hour

• Admission Rate: 20%

• Number of ER Bays: 18

• Patient Population: Mostly adults

• Coverage Model: Single coverage

• Staffing Support: Standard ED team

Candidate Requirements

• EM Residency Trained - Required

• Board Certification: Primary Care Physicians with Emergency Medicine experience and alternate boards will be considered
