Job Details:
• Locum tenens coverage with ongoing needs, including specific shifts available from - and -
• Manage approximately 4 patient encounters per shift
• Must have clean malpractice history to get temporary privileges
• Hospital privileging requires 100 deliveries and 50 gynecological cases within the past 24 months
• Handle low risk pregnancies (required) and high risk pregnancies (preferred)
• Perform FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE
• Conduct OB ultrasounds (Level I/Screening and Level II/Targeted) with performance and interpretation capabilities
• Perform amniocentesis procedures
• Manage routine deliveries including vaginal, low forceps, and decision-making for c-sections
• Handle complicated deliveries including c-sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs
• Perform repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
• Conduct office/minor gynecology procedures (preferred) including IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP
• Provide surgical gynecology services including open and laparoscopic procedures
• Perform operative/major procedures including ectopic pregnancy management, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOAs
• Laser certification preferred
• BLS certification required
• Must be licensed in VA or have IMLC
• Estimated credentialing timeframe is 5 days
• Site prefers drive-in candidates
