Entry-Level Distribution EngineerPOWER Engineers, Inc. is seeking an Entry-Level Distribution Engineer for the Power Delivery Distribution Department in Denver, CO.Roles and ResponsibilitiesPerform distribution design, transmission project support, as well as a variety of other tasks as assigned by utility clientsDistribution design typically includes physical design, electrical design, and materialsAbility to manage multiple tasks and work effectively with different personalitiesRequired Education/ExperienceEngineering degree, from an ABET accredited university, preferably with a power optionMust have strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills in order to work effectively with internal team members and external client personnelStrong knowledge and understanding of electrical engineering upon which to buildAbility to manage multiple tasks and work effectively with different personalitiesMust be able to successfully pass client's background screening processMust have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordMust be authorized to work in the US without the need for sponsorshipDesired Education/ExperienceBSEE or BSCE degree, from an ABET accredited university, preferably with a power optionInternship or co-op experience with utility or industrial facilityEngineer in Training certificate (EIT) or passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examFamiliarity with Automated Utility Design™ (AUD), Autodesk AutoCAD, Maximo work management system is a plusExposure to utility Geographical Information Systems (GIS); GE Smallworld, ArcFM, etc. is a plusPOWER Engineers, Member of WSP, is a global consulting environmental and engineering firm and one of the top design firms in the energy sector. That might seem contradictory to some, but it works for us!Base Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $83,000.00 per yearThe range for this position is being displayed in compliance with all state and local regulations. Salaries are set based on a number of factors to include an individual's job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. This means that no two candidates are alike.
