Overview

Sugar Bowl is looking for an enthusiastic and engaging individual with an interest in selling quality apparel, accessories and equipment in a beautiful retail environment. Be inspired to work in our newly renovated Chalet store, or in our fast-paced accessory shop at the Main Lodge or split your time between both. The position is responsible for sales of technical apparel, equipment, and accessories. The ideal candidate must have a willingness to learn and maintain a working knowledge of our products, brands and services. Ongoing training provided.

Who you are

• Two years of retail experience preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to provide excellent guest service in a dynamic, high-volume department.
• Must be fluent in English.

What you will do

• Perform all duties and responsibilities of Retail Sales Associate.
• Learn all aspects of RTP POS system. Be able to sell any product at any location.
• Sell technical apparel, skis/bindings, and accessories. Training provided.
• Assist with demo skis, and willingness to be certified to adjust demo bindings as needed.
• Perform store open/close procedures which includes snow removal as needed.
• Work with team to maintain the store’s appearance, which includes straightening, sizing, restocking and light cleaning.
• Assist with inventory management including checking product in, tagging, folding, organizing backstock.
• Help with restocking transfers between locations by foot.
• Remain current on new industry products and trends and demonstrate knowledge of products.
• Quickly and effectively solve guest inquiries and use best judgment to escalate unresolved guest issues to the Retail Manager in a timely manner.
• Embrace, promote and comply with Sugar Bowl’s mission, values, policies and procedures.
• Must be able to work holiday periods and weekends.
• Other duties as assigned.
• 40- 45 hours per week.
