What you’ll be doing

• As a full-time Verizon Retail Sales Associate, grow your career with a team focused on unlocking your full potential and sales success within one of our retail stores.
• Generate retail sales by using your passion for cutting-edge technology, and exceptional customer service to expand the Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down sales solution.
• Close sales by using communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions.
• Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skill in merchandising and inventory operations.
• Potential to grow your customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers interested in our products and services.
• Engage with the community outside the store to expand your loyal customer base, including at off-site Verizon sponsored events.

We’re hiring immediately! This isn’t a typical entry-level retail position. Depending on experience, you can earn base pay between $16.00 and $21.00 per hour, plus up to $16,000 per year in individual-based commissions if you hit all sales goals. Top performers could earn additional commissions, with total compensation potentially ranging from $65,000+ to $73,500+ annually. Compensation varies by geography, hours worked, and performance.

What we’re looking for

• You’ll need to have a high school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of relevant experience required (demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience).
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule provided four weeks in advance).
• Openness to pick up additional shifts, especially during peak periods (summer, November–December).
• Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • Experience in a commission-based environment.
  • Sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions.
  • Customer service experience.
