Overview

Master Data Analyst - Master Data Governance role. Base pay range: $40.00/hr - $42.00/hr. Duration: 12+ Months. This role involves ensuring accuracy of RTR and OTC Master Data, coordinating with IT, Accounting, FP&A, Operational Excellence and Business Partners to clean up and migrate master data from legacy systems. Responsibilities include coordinating population of SAP LRF (load ready files), data analysis and issue follow-up between IT and Business.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT lead to facilitate local data extracts.
• Map legacy data from ERP AX Microsoft Dynamics to SAP fields.
• Analyze data errors, identify root causes, and propose end-to-end solutions.
• Use MS Excel to document analysis results and present findings to the project team for corrective action.
• Utilize Excel functionalities (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) to automate reports and analyses; cleanse data in legacy systems and work with IT coordinators to enrich missing fields; follow up on open items related to Master Data; review Pre-Load and Post-Load Reports for Pre-Q and Q; coordinate IT and Business issue resolution.
• Track and report the status of corrective action items.
• Knowledge/Experience with S4 SAP system, Vendor master and PTP processes.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Treasury and business users to ensure proper and authenticated vendors are onboarded and maintained.
• Verify documentation for onboarding new vendors and updates to existing vendor master data.
• Prepare documentation and work instructions for process improvements related to vendor maintenance systems (e.g., Ariba, DSP, SAP).
• Support additional functions within the Vendor Master Data team and address queries from business requestors.
• Respond to escalation requests from business users; adhere to processes and SLAs.
• Good teamwork, interpersonal, communication, organization, and decision-making skills; strong time management and ability to handle multiple tasks; willingness to work across multiple time zones.
• Significant work activity: continuous sitting for extended periods.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Finance or Accounting; 1-3 years of experience in Financial Audit, FP&A, Accounting or Consulting.
• Strong MS Excel skills in data recording, analysis and reporting.
• Strong analytical skills with thoroughness and attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication to gather information from business groups.
• Ability to work with people across multiple work streams; ability to work independently and proactively solve problems with extreme attention to detail.
• Organizational skills and discretion with confidential information; efficient with large projects and aggressive deadlines.
• Experience with SAP Ariba and DSP systems is preferred.
• Experience with S4 SAP Vendor Master and PTP is preferred.
