Job Description

Job Title: Finance Master Data Analyst (Entry-Level)

Location: Tampa, FL – Hybrid (M-F 9 AM - 5 PM 3 days onsite, 2 days WFH – Flexible on which days)

Pay Rate: $33.00 – $37.39 per hour (based on experience)

Job Type: 13-Month Contract (Potential for extension or conversion)

Industry: Consumer Goods / Finance / Shared Services

Position Overview: We are seeking a junior-level candidate with a background in finance or accounting, ideally someone who is data-savvy, eager to learn, and excited to grow their career in Master Data Management within a global organization. Training will be provided for the specific systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and modify vendor and customer master data in SAP
  • Ensure accurate and timely Accounting/Controlling Master Data entry
  • Collaborate with internal teams including General Ledger, R2R, I2P, Treasury, and Controlling
  • Support Finance and FP&A teams through accurate data setup and maintenance
  • Monitor data integration between SAP and other systems (e.g., My Market, Compass, Tiger)
  • Participate in Master Data-related projects and improvement initiatives
  • Prepare documentation and ensure compliance with internal data governance processes
  • Support KPI tracking and performance dashboards for MDM activities

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience:

  • 0–5 years of relevant experience
  • Recent graduates welcome (internship experience preferred)
  • Should not be overqualified – this is an entry-level position

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with SAP preferred (or other ERP systems)
  • Exposure to Power BI is a plus
  • Comfortable working with financial data and systems (Master Data Management – not Data Analytics)

Knowledge:

  • General understanding of debit/credit, general ledger functions, and financial controls
  • Familiarity with finance operations and accounting processes
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes

  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Analytical mindset with a willingness to grow in a structured environment
