Call Center Representative – Tampa, FL (Full-time, Days)

The role involves scheduling patients with physicians via incoming and outbound calls with a focus on customer service. Provides operational support in the delivery of patient care in a call setting environment. Responsible for answering phones in a timely and professional manner, scheduling appointments, and obtaining input of insurance information.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients with physicians via incoming and outbound calls with a focus on customer service
• Provide operational support in the delivery of patient care in a call setting
• Answer phones in a timely and professional manner
• Schedule appointments and input insurance information
• New patient registration (inputting demographic information, insurance information, etc.)
• Assist patients with scheduling to obtain an appointment as a first-time patient and handle reschedule lists
• Update computer referring physician database
• Transfer incoming callers to appropriate department/location when necessary

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent – Required
• 1 year of previous experience providing customer service in the medical field – Preferred
