Job Title: Medical Scheduler (Call Center)

Location: San Antonio, TX - onsite

Assignment Type: 6-Month Contract

Compensation: $17 - $19 / Hour

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Position Overview:

Addison Group is supporting a high-priority healthcare call center initiative in San Antonio, TX. This is a 6-month contract opportunity with potential extension. The ideal candidate has both high-volume call center experience and an understanding of medical terminology and HIPAA guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage high-volume inbound calls related to healthcare services and scheduling.
• Provide accurate information and support to patients.
• Document interactions and escalate issues as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure service excellence.

Qualifications:

• 2–5 years of call center or customer service experience.
• Healthcare experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to speak confidently about healthcare-related topics.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must pass a background check (approx. 2-week clearance time).

Additional Details:

• Start Dates: ASAP - pending background clearance
• Training: 3 weeks (2 weeks classroom, 1 week on the floor), schedule Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
• Work schedule: Monday-Friday 11am-8pm after completing training
• Overtime policy: may require weekly overtime + voluntary opportunities
