Duration: 2-3-month contract

Summary

We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient individual to join our team as a Hardware Refresh Specialist. This position will play a critical role in our upcoming hardware refresh project, focusing on the replacement of laptops across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the procurement, configuration, and deployment of new laptops, ensuring compatibility with existing systems and software.
• Conduct hardware assessments and inventory management to identify laptops eligible for replacement and track their status throughout the refresh process.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users during the laptop replacement process, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
• Coordinate with vendors and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of hardware components and accessories required for the refresh project.
• Assist in the migration of user data and settings from old laptops to new devices, ensuring minimal disruption to productivity and workflow.
• Conduct user training sessions and provide documentation on the setup and use of new laptops, software applications, and peripherals.
• Collaborate with IT support teams to address any technical challenges or compatibility issues encountered during the hardware refresh project.
• Document and maintain accurate records of hardware inventory, configurations, and support tickets related to the refresh project.
• Participate in post-implementation reviews and contribute to the development of best practices and lessons learned for future hardware refresh initiatives.

Skills / Requirements

• Must have experience working on enterprise-level hardware refresh projects.
• Must have excellent PC/Laptop hardware skills.
• Must have excellent imaging skills.
• Must be willing to work onsite 5 days per week.
• Must have experience with Windows OS and Office 365.
