We are partnering with a leading manufacturing client to find a skilled IT Security Specialist to join their corporate HQ, located just 30 miles east of Lebanon, TN.
Please note this position is 100% on-site.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage IT security operations and support daily technology needs.
- Maintain critical systems, strengthen cybersecurity defenses, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Administer firewalls, backup/recovery, and web security platforms
- Support Active Directory, Microsoft 365, VMware, and ERP systems
- Manage identity and access controls; conduct vulnerability assessments
- Collaborate with IT on system hardening, incident response, and recovery
- Maintain security documentation and stay current on emerging threats
- Bachelor's Degree in IT/Computer Science preferred
- 5+ years in cybersecurity/IT within manufacturing industry
- Experience with Windows, Linux, macOS, and UNIX environments
- Strong networking and cloud platform knowledge (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with encryption, PKI, and cybersecurity frameworks
- Scripting skills (Python, Bash) and Agile team experience
- Ability to work on-site 5 days a week
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S., as this client is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
- Base salary in the $80k-110k range (depending on experience)
