About This Job

Elementary school student monitor paraprofessionals monitor, supervise, and guide students in compliance with established school procedures. They support individuals, teams, or departments through the practical application of knowledge, the use of proven techniques, and adherence to procedures. The primary focus is on the execution of assigned tasks in a specific area of responsibility, with a non-technical scope and a high degree of customer service.

The salary range for internal candidates is $21.00 to $25.18 per hour. Click here for more information on compensation for these roles. What You'll Do

Assists students with assignments Obtains and organizes student resource materials Informs the supervisor of any concerns or problem situations as necessary Provides back-up support to the other positions as required or requested Monitors student activity in classrooms, computer laboratory, hallways, lunchrooms, playgrounds, and other locations as required or requested, maintaining order or discipline Implements classroom behavior management strategies Communicate with teachers, counselors, and other administrators about performance and disciplinary issues Maintains the confidentiality of student information
