Assists students with assignments Obtains and organizes student resource materials Informs supervisor of any concerns or problem situations as necessary Provides back-up support to other positions as required or requested Monitors student activity in classrooms, computer laboratory, hallways, lunchrooms, playgrounds and other locations as required or requested, maintaining order and discipline Implements classroom behavior management strategies Communicates with teachers, counselors, and other administrators about performance and disciplinary issues Maintains the confidentiality of student information What You’ll Need

Knowledge with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook Effective time management and organizational skills Effective communication skills, including the ability to communicate well in English, both verbally and in writing. Strong attention to detail Effectively handles multiple demands and competing deadlines The ability to take responsibility for one’s own performance Works collaboratively with others on a team Aptitude for variety and changing expectations and fast-paced environment Ability to coordinate and work effectively with site staff and a diverse student population Ability to monitor and supervise assigned student activity for sustained periods of time to anticipate and maintain safe environment Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education. Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us. Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position.
