Kiln Forklift Operator
Reports to:
Quality Control Superintendent
Position Overview:
The Kiln Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely operating forklifts during the in-feed and out-feed processes, ensuring efficient material handling and contributing to overall production goals. Safety:
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment. Communication:
Coordinate with other team members, including machine operators, supervisors, and maintenance personnel, to ensure smooth operations. Required Skills:
The ability to work in a safe and efficient manner Minimum of 2 years of industrial forklift experience in a manufacturing environment (ex. Taylor 360, Hyster 360) or 3 years of Heavy Equipment operations (Skid Steers, Excavators, etc.)
Good interpersonal skills and communication Enthusiastic, positive attitude Knowledge of the lumber manufacturing process would be an asset Forklift license considered an asset
