Overview
Web Marketing Manager (Slack) at Salesforce. Manage the production and execution of the web and content strategy by understanding users, products, and the platform. Responsible for building and maintaining web pages, content updates, and executing digital campaigns using the Content Management System (CMS). Lead the day-to-day management of the website to ensure a high-quality user experience, increase non-paid traffic, and support overall marketing goals. Collaborate with marketing, design, copy, localization, and development teams to execute website updates that raise awareness, improve SEO, and drive customer acquisition. As an ideal candidate, bring a positive attitude and curiosity to continuously improve the user experience. Be comfortable taking initiative on projects and working in cross-functional settings. Able to discuss designs with creative partners, align with product, communicate technical requirements with developers, and report project status to leadership. Responsibilities
Web Production & Content Management: Build, publish, and maintain web pages, landing pages, and blog posts using our CMS. Manage the content lifecycle from request to publishing, ensuring content is accurate, up-to-date, and adheres to brand guidelines. Upload and manage digital assets (images, videos, documents) within the CMS. Conduct quality assurance to ensure content is error-free, mobile-responsive, and accessible. Collaboration & Execution: Partner with marketing, design, and copy teams to translate briefs and mockups into functional web pages. Implement on-page SEO best practices (meta tags, headers, image alt text) as guided by the SEO team. Support digital marketing campaigns by creating and updating related landing pages and web content. Coordinate with Localization teams for global campaigns. Performance & Reporting: Monitor and report page and campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics on a monthly and quarterly basis. Analyze page performance and user behavior to identify opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with marketing and experimentation teams to apply learnings and support testing initiatives. Qualifications
5+ years of experience in web production, web marketing, or similar roles with a focus on website management. Hands-on proficiency with one or more enterprise-level CMS (e.g., WordPress or similar platforms). Solid understanding of web best practices, including on-page SEO, accessibility, and user experience. Experience working cross-functionally with creative, marketing, and technical teams to bring web projects to life. Able to work from a content brief and collaborate with content creators to ensure web copy is effective and engaging. Detail-oriented with a strong eye for quality assurance and brand consistency. Proficient in Google Analytics and familiar with Google Tag Manager (or similar programs). About Salesforce
