Overview
Navion Senior Solutions, a leading provider of senior living across the East Coast, has an opportunity for a seasoned Vice President of Sales and Marketing to lead our Sales and Marketing team across the organization. This role provides strategic and operational support by developing short- and long-term sales and marketing goals and strategies, leading the sales team to achieve occupancy growth objectives for the company, each regional area, and each community. The Vice President reports to the Chief Experience Officer and collaborates with the corporate team, Regional Directors of Operations, Regional Directors of Sales and Marketing, Site Sales and Marketing Directors, and community Executive Directors to ensure objectives and goals are the focus for the community sales and marketing teams. Frequent travel to Navion communities is required. Navion Senior Solutions has partnered with Tapcheck, revolutionizing how team members get paid, enabling earned wages to be accessed instantly through a mobile app. This collaboration supports financial empowerment for team members. Responsibilities
Develop and execute corporate-level sales strategies and coordinate them at regional and community levels to achieve sustained occupancy levels at or above target. Coach, train, track, and assist with the management of the Sales and Marketing Regional Team. Coach, train, and support the corporate team, regional directors, and community-level team members in sales, marketing, communications, metric management, business development, and related areas. Set, monitor, and manage monthly occupancy goals for the company and each community; develop strategies to ensure success (meet or exceed monthly sales goals). Review, refine, and create sales and marketing materials, protocols, and initiatives; ensure adherence to Sales and Marketing policies and procedures. Ensure accuracy and integrity in daily and monthly sales reports (census, move-in/move-out, sales performance, mid-month). Train new and existing team members to the standards of the Sales and Marketing policy; attend weekly team meetings as needed to observe dynamics and efficiencies. Interview screened Sales and Marketing candidates to ensure professional experience and skill fit. Act as an expert resource for Navion team members regarding the CRM and related sales/marketing reports. Identify sales and marketing opportunities using data-driven insights and provide updates on how strategies can be supported or validated with key metrics. Ensure Quarterly Sales Plans are completed, followed, tracked, and adjusted as necessary. Update Competitive Analysis at least bi-annually and as new competition emerges in a market. Ensure weekend, holiday, and vacation sales coverage at every community. Enhance professional selling skills for regional team members and improve overall sales training effectiveness. Motivate the sales team through ongoing training and positive reinforcement. Maintain and develop a Sales Team Newsletter to promote cohesiveness and share best practices. Manage monthly commission reporting from the Sales Team and provide a summary of results and payouts to the Executive Committee. Provide a monthly sales dashboard report to the Executive Committee. Travel extensively as required to any state/location where Navion has a community or is considering acquisition. Supervise and guide Regional Directors of Sales and Marketing, community Sales and Marketing Directors, and others as assigned to ensure company objectives are met, in accordance with policies and applicable laws. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of leadership in a Senior Sales role in senior housing or hospitality required. Minimum of 10 years of experience in regional marketing, sales, and communications. Successful track record in sales and sales leadership. Multi-site/regional experience in 20+ communities or locations. New development, expansion, or lease-up experience required. Valid state driver’s license. Strong leadership and financial skills. Ability to handle conflict, problems, and emergency situations. Excellent written and oral communication; ability to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary setting with residents, families, team members, community representatives, and government agencies. Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Expert-level proficiency with the organization’s CRM. High energy level and ability to manage multiple priorities.
