Cabling Technician

We're looking for a skilled Cabling Technician who takes pride in their work, whether running CAT6 in a crawlspace or cleaning up a server room that looks like spaghetti night. What you'll be doing: Pulling, installing, and terminating low-voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, coax, etc.) in commercial and residential environments Installing racks, patch panels, network jacks, faceplates, and testing equipment Diagnosing and resolving cabling issues or poor prior installations Reading blueprints and floor plans to design and execute clean, efficient cable routes Collaborating with team members, clients, contractors, and the occasional curious office cat Ensuring all jobs are completed with safety, accuracy, and that chef's kiss finish What we're looking for: 1+ year of structured cabling or low-voltage installation experience (more = even better) Ability to terminate and test Cat5e/Cat6 cables (RJ45), and familiarity with tools like cable testers, punch-down tools, and fish tapes Comfortable using ladders, lifts, and tools (and following OSHA safety practices) Must be able to lift 50 lbs, crawl, bend, climb, and sometimes work in less-than-glamorous spaces Valid driver's license and clean driving record (you'll be driving the Nerd Van!)
