Leadership Responsible for ensuring the overall design intent of the project established by the Project Designer is incorporated into the detailed documentation. Monitor the design process from conceptual phase through construction administration, ensuring the design idea is consistent and properly executed. Responsible for technical resolution and coordination for a defined portion of a project. Work with the Specification Writer to develop specifications and coordinate drawings and specifications. Check completed reports, plans, estimates and calculations for accuracy. Set the overall strategy for producing documents and identify sheets planned for each stage, including data organization and Building Information Modeling (BIM) elements. Set up project team software parameters and manage standards. Foster and maintain a collaborative professional working relationship with the Project Leadership Team. Coordinate communication with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors to incorporate information into project requirements and provide support as necessary. Ensure construction detail documentation conforms to QA/QC and best practice standards. Supervise preparation of technical drawings by less senior architects or technicians. Perform as team leader on certain projects and mentor less experienced staff; participate in professional development and lessons learned sessions. Foster a green workplace through sustainable practices and a commitment to client service. Client Interface Develop a positive relationship of trust with client leadership. Regularly communicate with client representatives to verify design requirements, progress, and final presentation delivery. Teamwork Receive project direction from the Principal in Charge and Technical direction from the RBU Technical Principal. Coordinate shared electronic documentation and files with project team, clients and consultants. Assist in planning and conducting work, making minor adaptations to complete the working drawing set. Meet with municipal building departments and other authorities to coordinate approvals or variances. Write reports and memos to consultants and vendors to issue changes and track resolutions. Provide technical support and project communications to the team as required. Attend on-site visits, field reviews and project meetings; review contractor schedules and shop drawings. Assist the Specification Writer in product research and material evaluation and selection. Support specification setup, drawing coordination, research, and use of HOK standards. Support team members in specific markets or disciplines and participate in project issue resolution, scheduling, and technical discussions. Assist in review of project costs and budgets, and adherence to schedule. Prepare meeting minutes for consultant coordination meetings and may prepare 2D/3D presentation drawings and models for client reviews. Incorporate Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects. Business Development May participate in business development meetings with team leaders to target specified project, client or market opportunities. Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in architecture or equivalent required; Master's degree preferred. Licensed Architect with current registration in your region required, if licensure is offered in your region. NCARB registration preferred. LEED accreditation or Green Associate preferred. 10+ years of design experience. Other
