The Aero Field Technical Advisor is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely execution of complex gas turbine maintenance, inspection, and repair projects in the field. This role requires advanced technical expertise in LM6000 and LM2500 aero-derivative gas turbines and the ability to lead, mentor, and direct field service crews on-site. The Technical Advisor will serve as the primary on-site point of contact, overseeing project planning, execution, and safety while ensuring adherence to customer requirements, technical procedures, and quality standards. Field Services Manager Position Responsibilities

Act as the working lead on-site, directing assigned field service personnel and ensuring safe, efficient job execution. Hold team members accountable to project schedules, work quality, and safety protocols. Provide technical oversight and deliver training to field service representatives and technicians, ensuring skills development, procedural compliance, and qualification in maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and technical documentation usage. Support the Field Service Manager with on-site planning, scope adherence, scheduling, manpower allocation, and progress reporting. Perform Level 1 & Level 2 maintenance on LM6000 & LM2500 gas turbines. Inspect engine modules and components, assessing wear and condition. Use precision measuring and specialty tools for turbine engine repair and maintenance. Generate accurate and timely Technical Reports and Field Service Reports for internal and customer use. Analyze Field Service Reports for accuracy, completeness, and consistency with job scope and technical standards. Maintain clear and professional communication with customers, team members, and management. Recommend improvements to field service procedures, inspection processes, and documentation standards. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company safety policies, customer site requirements, and regulatory standards. Conduct quality control checks on completed work to ensure compliance with technical standards and customer expectations. Lead engineering triage efforts to resolve technical issues encountered during field operations, coordinating with engineering support teams as needed. Provide on-call technical assistance to field teams and customers, offering remote troubleshooting and guidance outside of standard working hours. Support administrative tasks related to field operations, including documentation review, report validation, and data entry as needed. Collaborate closely with customers, Field Service Managers, engineering teams, and other internal departments. Act as the on-site representative for the company, ensuring customer satisfaction and project success. Required qualifications

Two-year technical degree in aviation, mechanics, or related field OR 5+ years of relevant gas turbine experience in lieu of formal education. Minimum 10 years of mechanical experience on LM6000 & LM2500 aero-derivative gas turbines Must read, write and speak fluent English. Travel: 75% – 95%, including domestic and international assignments. Extended hours, weekends, and holidays may be required during field projects. Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, operate heavy tools/equipment, and work at heights. Comfortable working in varying climate conditions. U.S. work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized Visa. Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete the following:

Pre-employment drug screen, background check, including a Motor Vehicle Record review. DISA background and drug screen requirements as indicated by a PROENERGY client.

Desired Qualifications

Experience as a team lead in field service operations. Borescope inspection experience for LM6000 & LM2500 gas turbines. Demonstrated understanding of aero gas turbine maintenance functions. Proficiency in using and interpreting technical manuals, OEM procedures, and inspection criteria. Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex technical issues. Ability to travel domestically and internationally on short notice.
