Position Summary The Lead Rotating Parts Engineer researches, plans, and designs PROENERGY's mechanical and electromechanical products and systems, and directs and coordinates activities involved in manufacturing, fabrication, operation, application, installation, and repair of mechanical or electromechanical products and systems.

Position Responsibilities
Design gas turbine parts for aeroderivative turbines (LM6000/LM2500)
Manage manufacturing processes of gas turbine parts for aeroderivative turbines (LM6000/LM2500)
Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain and Quality during manufacturing of gas turbine parts
Lead third‑party design consultants for detailed design of gas turbine parts
Maintain compliance with engineering codes, standards and regulations
Serve as technical authority with field service teams for gas turbine parts
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees (Master’s or Ph.D.) preferred
Minimum 5‑7 years relevant experience
Experience with thermal, structural, and vibration analysis for rotating parts components
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks) for component design and modeling
Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) tools (e.g., ANSYS) and hand calculations for structural, thermal, and vibration analysis
Knowledge of high‑temperature materials, coatings, and welding techniques used in gas turbine rotating parts components
In‑depth knowledge of drawing GT&D in alignment with manufacture and repair of gas turbine rotating parts components
Familiarity with gas turbine performance, aerodynamic principles, and material selection for gas turbine systems
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills with ability to develop innovative design solutions
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Detail‑oriented, balancing performance, manufacturability, and cost
Familiarity with ISO standards, ASME, or aerospace‑specific regulations (e.g., AMS, ASTM) is highly desirable
U.S. work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship
Successful candidate must satisfactorily complete pre‑employment drug screen and background check
Desired Qualifications
Technical leadership of a team designing, manufacturing and repairing gas turbine parts (LM6000/LM2500)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Ability to analyze and resolve problems in a logical and effective mannerProficiency in various MS Office Suite programs
