Share clinical responsibilities in pathology with a focus on molecular pathology or clinical cytogenetics and genomics. Collaborate with other faculty on test development and contribute to a vision of comprehensive germline and somatic genomic laboratories serving patients. Provide clinical care, participate in teaching, and contribute to scholarly activity and institutional service as appropriate to the programmatic needs. Join the Department of Pathology with an established research and clinical program that handles substantial laboratory testing and anatomic pathology case volume. Qualifications
MD, MD/PhD, or PhD with expertise in molecular pathology or clinical cytogenetics and genomics. Board eligibility or equivalent training in Cytogenetics, Laboratory Genetics and Genomics, or Molecular Genetic Pathology. Experience collaborating on test development and a commitment to advancing precision health. Rank and Appointment
The major criteria for appointment are excellence in clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly activity advancing clinical medicine, and institutional service. Academic rank and line will be determined by qualifications and experience. Appointment can be in the University Medical Line or Clinician Educator Line. Compensation
Expected Based Pay Range for this position: Assistant Professor: $264,000 – $282,000 Associate Professor: $313,000 – $331,000 Professor: $373,000 – $385,000 Pay range reflects base pay and rank/years in rank; it does not include all components of the faculty compensation program.
