Job Description The Financial Services & Insurance Industry (FSI) Senior Financials Consultant will ensure the successful implementation of Workday’s Financials solution for FSI customers and champion best practices for all FSI deployments. The ideal candidate should have experience in the FSI Industry with General Ledger, Consolidations, Allocations, Currency Revaluations and Translations, and an understanding of financial touchpoints to Projects, Accounts Payable, Cash Management and Assets. Key Areas of Responsibility
Become an expert in the Workday Financials product suite Provide FSI Industry perspective for customer business requirements Maintain FSI Industry best practices reflecting new industry requirements and trends Understand client business requirements during engagements Serve as a mentor for new Financial Consultants Ensure the client adopts Workday FSI Industry best practices Help ensure the client is referenceable in production Participate in update training and events to share product skills with other consultants About You
Basic Qualifications 5 years FSI industry ERP implementations General Ledger, Consolidations, Allocations, Currency Revaluations and Translations implementations experience Financial touchpoints to Projects, Accounts Payable, Cash Management and Assets experience Workday Deployment Experience Ability to travel up to 50% of the time P-5 7 years FSI industry ERP implementations General Ledger, Consolidations, Allocations, Currency Revaluations and Translations implementations experience Financial touchpoints to Projects, Accounts Payable, Cash Management and Assets experience Workday Deployment Experience Ability to travel up to 50% of the time Other Qualifications
Experience with Workday Accounting Center Experience implementing Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including active listening and ability to tailor communication to diverse audiences Strong industry knowledge, trends, regulatory environments to contribute to strategic planning and risk management Strong influencing skills and ability to drive consensus with stakeholders Proven mentorship skills for growth and development Comprehensive product knowledge of features, benefits, and market positioning Relationship management skills with clients, partners, and colleagues Ability to gather and analyze requirements to align with stakeholder needs Solutions design skills to address business challenges with technology Experience in strategic business consulting and financial acumen Task management and time management skills to prioritize and meet deadlines Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills The application deadline for this role is the same as the posting end date stated as below: 9.30.25 Workday Pay Transparency
The base salary ranges vary by location and may include bonuses, stock grants, and other compensation. Details shared during the hiring process. Primary Location: USA. IL, Chicago. Base pay ranges: $122,800 - $184,200; Additional US locations: $111,100 - $197,300. Colorado range: $116,900 - $175,400 where applicable.
